My goodness. I have entered the brave new world of publishing, where all the business rules I’ve learned somehow don’t apply on this planet. I am groping around in the dark trying to find my way, but on this new continent everything is out-of-place and feels strange to the touch.

Return phone calls are unheard of – there’s no service here. Texting is far off in the next galaxy. Direct correspondence? Don’t be silly, snail mail is so yesterday. I don’t think they’ve heard of  mail unless it includes the acronym SASE – then somehow through magic they get it.
